The Julia Butterfly Chronicles—-Tracing one woman’s path of universal environmentalism

Julia Butterfly Hill, founder of the Circle of Life Foundation, has effected
many readers of W.i.g. in the past. As part of our W.i.g. website re-launch,
we decided to run new and old stories about Julia Butterfly's ongoing
campaign to save Luna, the giant redwood tree she lived in for two years. The
following story segments capture the latest news about Luna, a story about
when Julia lived in the tree, an interview conducted after she descended,
along with a photo documentary based on our visit to Julia Butterfly when she
lived 180-feet up in Luna.
