Music Box Reviews
Dusty Trails (the review)
by Lisa O
As a fan of both Luscious Jackson and the Breeders, I was excited
to taste the groovy combination of Vivian Trimble and Josephine Wiggs
(ex-members of the respective bands.) The Kostars CD gave me a hint of the possibility. Sounding a
bit like Stereolab with a lot of sixties pop flavor mixed in (think Brazil 66), this easy
listening lush album will definitely satisfy your sweet tooth. This music will become the cool
soundtrack to your life; whether you're driving alone, doing laundry or enjoying cocktails after
work. The track Est-ce Que Tu sung in French is perfect and the always
welcome Emmy Lou Harris shows up on the track Cup of Coffee. Go out and get it.
